Had to modify the mounting plates for 7/16. Great product. My only gripes are the mounting hardware made it difficult to mount in anything thicker than 1/4". That and they are a little too quiet. Definitely helped the sound quality but they are still quieter than I was hoping.
Replaced stock tweeters in '03 Tacoma. Made a big difference. Much more than I expected for the price. Pretty easy install as well.
These tweeters are a good addition to my factory audio system. They were easy to install and look factory installed when you do the flush mount.
I replaced the tweeter for my wife's Hyundai Sonata -- it does make a big difference in sound quality and they fit in the exact same place as the original hyundai tweeters. By the way: the original tweeters as well as the original speakers are big piece of junk.
Then I added these Pioneer tweeters, and they really brought out the high notes. I replaced my stock speakers with Sonys in my '99 Escort ZX2. They made a big difference. They are small, black, and easy to install. You can't go wrong.
